Bonneville’s PTO fundraises to fill the gaps in student education and experience that we as a parent community and larger neighborhood value. Utah’s public education budget doesn’t fund dedicated art or science teachers in elementary schools. Other elementary schools rely on regular classroom teachers for art and science instruction. Recognizing how important early science and art exploration is to long-term student success, Bonneville parents have fundraised for over 20 years to support specialized art and science teacher salaries. Additional money raised helps to fund field trip buses, Fun Run t-shirts, reading enrichment materials, faculty/staff gifts, our Shakespeare program and more!
